a trulli happy 4th of July

Today is technically July 2nd but that didn't stop us (the Boeing crew) from celebrating July 4th today. Everyone met at the home of one of the Boeing/Alenia guys who lives in one of the trulli, cone-shaped stone huts indigenous to this region (Puglia) of Southern Italy. His trullo of course has been modernized.It was as American as a party can get inside of an Italian trullo, surrounded by olive trees, rock walls, and vineyards. There were burgers and hot dogs (and a random fish) on the grill, watermelon and chips, swimming and squirt guns. There was even a short rainstorm that came through to make us feel like we were at home in Seattle!
